Share the video!

Edit:

This post (below) used to be about the "Share DivX" campaign. The idea of this campaign sounded simple - if you use DivX, put a link on your site, and for your trouble you'd get a free copy of DivX Pro.

I kept my side of the bargain, but it seems like DivX isn't keeping to theirs. So bye-bye link!

Just so that there is no confusion. I added a link on 20 April. Right here:

Then received a mail from DivX on the 21st:

"Sorry, we can’t find any of the Share DivX buttons or links on the page you submitted. Please make sure that the URL you have provided us is correct and one of the DivX buttons or links appears on your page."

So I mailed right back, explaining that the link IS there, and that they should maybe check again.

By 8 May I haven't received a response, so I mail them again - this time to two e-mail accounts (they appear to have 2 relating to this campaign.)

Now, on 26 May, I've still not had a response to any one of my e-mails...

It appears like DivX managed to advertise on my site for "free" for more than a month. Guess I'm the sucker... So, as any business would do, I'm removing the link for "non payment" :)
